My name is Danny. I’m a nineteen year old university student who’d rather be nose-deep in a cookbook than a textbook. I’m currently on track to major in biological psychology, though I’ve no idea what my future actually holds. I dabble in design work for newspapers and magazines as well, but my true passion is baking.
The recipes featured here are usually serendipitous, sweet creations . I went vegetarian about 6 years ago, and I’ve really never looked back. Meat was hardly a staple of my diet, largely because of my incurable sweet tooth. Lately, though, I’ve challenged myself to pursue a (mostly) vegan diet, starting by eliminating dairy and eventually all refined, processed foods. That doesn’t mean these ingredients won’t occasionally find their way into my baking (others can eat them), it just means I’m limiting how much of these ingredients I consume.
Ultimately, I aim to bake things that delight, satisfy, and inspire.
